As part of Lancashire Football Association’s drive and commitment to improve participation for our football family we are seeking a dedicated, highly motivated and inspiring team member to join the Football Development Team.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a clear passion to improve and support communities across Lancashire, working with both traditional leagues and clubs, and also non-traditional community-based partners. The role holder will have a strong understanding of football development at grassroots level and the role that sustainable development programmes play in the community. Local knowledge of the areas covered would be advantageous to help maximise the impacts identified within the role profile.
This is a part time contract to November 2028, aligned to the FA’s National Game Strategy, working 28 hours a week flexibly, with evening and weekend commitments. Although based at Lancashire FA, there will be some opportunities to work remotely and flexibly. The role will have some occasional additional travel to other locations or overnight stays.
This position attracts a pro rata salary of £24k per annum (full time equivalent: £30k)

We are currently seeking Recreation & Events Team Members to work on a part-time casual worker contract within the Facility team at Lancashire FA.
Training will be given to enable successful candidates to gradually work across the whole facility and events business at Lancashire FA. This could involve working within the 1878 Café, providing a warm welcome to guests on reception, providing hospitality during events, conferences and match days. These positions are based at Lancashire FA and hours are offered on a rota basis.
The ideal candidates will have experience working within a busy facility environment and will have a friendly, welcoming manner. Having a high standard of customer care is essential, as is strong teamworking skills and a commitment to adherence to all legislative and health and safety requirements.
These part-time roles are paid at the applicable minimum wage plus rolled up annual leave (at c. 12%), and hours are offered on a rota basis. Whilst flexibility can be given around the number of shifts worked each week, the hours do regularly involve working evenings and weekends.
