In a well-fought game which was a great advert for girls football, Blackpool Girls beat PNE Women Juniors 2-1 to lift the SprintPrint U16 Girls County Youth Cup.
PNE had won the competition on four occasions previously, but it was only the second time the Tangerines had collected the trophy, ending a seven-year wait since their last triumph.
