Over the last few years, we have been working hard to reform Lancashire FA, modernising our governance structure and operations, to create a fit for purpose organisation that will positively impact our local community for generations to come. We bring people together for sport, health and wellbeing and create opportunities for connection and social interactions that otherwise would not exist.

We are currently seeking a visionary Chair to join and lead our dedicated and committed Board of Directors to strategically steer Lancashire FA to realise our vision.

This is an exciting, unique opportunity for an inclusive leader, who will be able to effectively chair meetings and foster a collaborative team dynamic. The Chair will work closely with the CEO, Board and Executive to support football, at all levels, and develop wide partnerships across all different sectors to significantly increase the Game’s reach.

As an influential and accomplished individual, with an interest in football, sport, health or wellbeing, our Chair will be an ambassador for Lancashire FA’s work and will, ideally, have an understanding of the volunteer network within sports governance and the competing priorities from stakeholders. They will recognise the importance of embedding the priorities of an inclusion and safeguarding mindset in our community and will be keen to use innovation and opportunities to reach as many differing groups within our society as possible.
